Gifted Together is excited to announce a new summer group experience for 12-16 year olds who are tired of spending too much time on screens and are looking for connection with like-minded peers. Led by Jackson, Therapy is Magic (The Gathering)! is a 4-week therapeutic group that uses the popular card game Magic: The Gathering! as a supported way to expand social skills and develop off-screen connections through collaborative gameplay, problem-solving, and guided therapeutic support. Participants will have opportunities to build confidence, practice communication, improve emotional regulation skills, and foster meaningful peer relationships.
No advanced experience with Magic: The Gathering! is required—participants with some familiarity may feel more comfortable, but beginners are welcome. Participants will receive a new card packet each week!
Dates: Mondays in July, 2026 (July 6, 13, 20, 27)
Time: 10:00–11:30 a.m. weekly
Location: Gifted Together
Cost: $160 for all four weeks
Availability: Limited to 8 participants
This group is led by a licensed clinician and qualifies as a therapeutic service eligible for insurance reimbursement.
